Before recording a lesson, write the question the viewer should be able to answer. Choose one example that demonstrates that answer. If the example depends on a visual, describe it in the manuscript or add an image you have permission to use.
The edit removes the screen reference and adds an explicit editorial instruction. That instruction is not a quotation from the speaker. Keep this distinction clear whenever you add explanation to a source-based draft.

Can you use the ebook as a lead magnet?
Yes, if you have the necessary rights and the edited ebook helps your intended reader. Start with one focused lesson: a broad interview may need substantial editing before it becomes a useful download. Add your own introduction and relevant next step in the manuscript, then test the exported file on a phone and computer.
VidBook prepares the manuscript and exports. You need a separate download host and email-signup service to deliver it. A download does not demonstrate that a reader became a qualified lead or a paying customer; measure those steps separately.
What should you review before distribution?
- Compare names, numbers, quotes and specialist terms with the recording.
- Remove sponsor messages, repetition and references such as “click here” that no longer work.
- Label your added explanations; do not present them as the speaker's original words.
- Resolve guest, image and third-party permissions before reuse.
- Open the actual export and test its navigation and any links you added.

What ebook format should I pick — PDF, EPUB, or DOCX?+
Use PDF for a fixed-layout download, EPUB for reflowable reading, and DOCX when an editor or designer needs to change the manuscript. VidBook's PDF uses a print layout in a 6 x 9, 5.5 x 8.5, A5 or 8.5 x 11 inch trim; use DOCX and a design tool if your lead magnet needs branded worksheets or another page size.
Is the output a transcript or a finished ebook?+
It is an editable chapter draft based on the transcript. It is not a verbatim transcript and it is not automatically publication-ready. Check facts, quotations, examples and transitions, then edit for your audience and voice.
How long does the conversion take?+
Duration depends on transcript access, source length, chapter count, the selected engine and provider availability. Generation runs as a background job; return to the project to check progress. There is no fixed completion-time guarantee.
Do I need to pay before I see the result?+
